ART. 2 . . . Determining the avarage:

  1. When four (4) judges are used, drop the high and the low scores.  The two (2) middle scores are averaged and the difference between the two (2) counting scores must be within range of each other as determined by the average;
  2. When two (2) or three (3) judges are used, all scores are averaged and the average determines the range.  All scores must be within range of each other as determined by the average score.

ART. 3 . . . If the scores are out of range with each other, a conference must be called to resolve the discrepancy.  It is the professional responsibility of the judges to come to an agreement.  If they are unable to come to an agreement, the chief judge may mandate that the scores be brought into allowable range.
