 *Applicable to coaching endorsements from the Department of Education prior to the 2000-01 school year.

 

New Coach (Head or Assistant) Must complete both First Aid for Coaches and Fundamentals of Coaching (or equivalents).
Volunteer Coach If only serving as chaperone or driver, no coursework is required.  However, if the volunteer is reponsible for coaching specific skills related to a particular sport and will be in control of specific drills or parts of practice, then both First Aid for Coaches and Fundamentals of Coaching (or equivalents) are required.
